Winlkevoss Twins Are Not Finished Yet!

facebook in newsOn Boobytech yesterday, we posted an article indicating an end to the long drawn out case between the Winklevoss twins and Mark Zuckerburg.  They sought to discontinue the case, settling and avoiding further litigation from reaching the U.S. Supreme Court.  Unfortunately, what we had thought was the end to the spat between the two parties, turned out to be just another ripple in the now notorious Facebook disagreement.

After settling out of court, the Winklevoss twins decided to file yet another suit, this time claiming that Mark Zuckerburg and Facebook withheld incremenating evidence that would have been vital to their case.

According to the L.A. Times, “Winklevosses and Narendra said they planned to ask the Boston federal court to look into their claims that Facebook and its lawyers hid instant messages from them during litigation”.   The messages are no doubt harmful to Mr. Zuckerburg, as he comes off as coniving and cocky.

Some of the content Mr. Zuckerburg stated in the im’s were, “I’m going to [expletive] them…They made a mistake haha. They asked me to make it for them. So I’m like delaying it so it won’t be ready until after the Facebook thing comes out”.  As anyone could percieve for themselves, these statements portray Mr. Zuckerburg in a very negative light.

Facebook’s retort is that these claims are the same baseless claims that have been made against Mr. Zuckerburg and his legal team in the past.  They believe it will not hold well in court.  By the by, the Winklevoss twins will have a very tough time trying to reverse the settlement based on these hidden instant messages–especially when you consider just how fruitful their settlements have turned out to be.  Their stock is now worth $100 Million.
